Systems Administrator

A Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing an organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and security.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and configure software, hardware, and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and antivirus software.
• Manage data backup and recovery processes to prevent data loss.
• Provide technical support and assistance to users, resolving any IT-related issues.
• Perform regular system upgrades and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of network servers and technology tools.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management. Familiarity with system security and data backup / recovery.
• A bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills.
