Overview

The Systems Administrator will support operational teams in a warehouse courier environment by managing and resolving system-related queries, with a specific focus on the FarEye logistics system parcel processing systems. The incumbent will assist with training-related queries, provide first-level support for technical issues, and escalate process-related problems to the relevant stakeholders. This role is shift-based to ensure continuous system support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for the FarEye platform, particularly related to user training and system navigation.
• Assist operations and courier staff with PAXI parcel-related queries across the relevant systems.
• Serve as the first point of contact for system-related issues arising during daily warehouse and courier operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues within agreed timelines or escalate to second-level support or development teams as needed.
• Monitor system performance and user activity during shifts to preempt or resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and escalations using internal tracking tools.
• Ensure alignment with operational processes and recommend improvements where system gaps are identified.
• Collaborate with warehouse, courier, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and support.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
• IT certification or related technical qualification (advantageous).

Experience

• 1–2 years' experience in a system support or warehouse logistics environment.
• Experience with FarEye, or similar last-mile delivery systems is strongly preferred.

Additional Information
