As part of our team as a System Engineering Technical Specialist, you will manage the design and implementation of appropriate and sustainable solutions and ensure effective collaboration and integration across product houses, business units, and segments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information Technology solutions.
- Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members.
- Provide secondary level standby and complex problem resolution by interfacing with vendor support.
- Work with management to develop database strategies to support company needs in effective database performance.
- Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives, and relevant industry practices.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and explore ways to constantly improve quality of existing services, processes, and systems.
- Advise management on effective applications regarding Maintenance, Support, Man-machine interfaces, and Data management.
- Manage system enhancements by implementations and changes after testing.
- Draft system definition documentation to ensure effective implementation.
- Define host software products and ensure availability of Host Software.
- Manage own development to increase competencies.
- Maintain in-depth system/application knowledge to maximize contribution to the role.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years' experience in ATM environment.
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
