Job description

System Management entails the management, coordination, alignment, validation, forecasting, and reporting of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning attributes and parametric work metrics per system.

Responsibilities :

• Shaft outfitting or shaft maintenance (shaft inspections / repairs, Bunton and guide replacement)
• Construction and upkeep of underground infrastructure
• Comprehension / knowledge of steel structure erection
• Alignment of mechanical drives
• Recognizing the link between several engineering fields
• Package deliverables must be planned, coordinated, aligned, and met.
• Assuring the development and enhancement of package definition (scope, schedule, budgets, cost baseline, and projections) in compliance with execution and management plans.
• Keeping the project manager up to date on the resources (skills / hours), information, effort, purchase orders, and contracts needed to execute and deliver the task on time and on budget.
• Package management from start to finish (cradle to grave).

Qualifications and Experience :

• Minimum / Civil Mechanical Engineering tertiary qualification (B.Eng.) advantage
• Previous construction experience (EPCM)
• 5 years’ experience, preferably in a similar environment. Experience with Mine shafts, & underground construction
