Job summary

Fempower Personnel invites applications for a SYSPRO Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing and commercial services client in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The role focuses on administration, support, and continuous improvement of the SYSPRO ERP environment across the business.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will manage user access, data integrity, and reporting with Crystal Reports/SSRS, while driving ERP enhancements and training users.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in SYSPRO ERP administration and support – essential
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience within manufacturing, distribution or supply chain would be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports/SSRS and data analysis
• Basic programming knowledge in .NET, VB or C# would be advantageous
• SYSPRO/ERP certification would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the SYSPRO ERP environment across test, development and production environments
• Monitor system performance and support upgrades, patches, backups and disaster recovery
• Manage SYSPRO user accounts, roles, permissions and access controls
• Maintain the integrity of master data, including inventory, BOMs, customers, suppliers, warehouses and routing data
• Provide 1st and 2nd line SYSPRO support and troubleshoot system-related issues
• Liaise with external consultants and service providers where required
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports, SSRS, SQL, Excel and ODBC
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for ERP improvements and automation
• Support system upgrades, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support month-end and year-end processes, stock takes and reconciliations
• Manage support tickets within agreed service levels
• Maintain accurate system documentation and procedures
• Provide guidance and training to SYSPRO users where required
