Job summary

HR Genie seeks a Syrup Mixer for an Orange/Black River area position in the Eastern Cape. The role covers preparing syrups and flavours, ensuring timely processing according to recipes to meet production requirements.

The incumbent will conduct quality checks, complete traceability paperwork, and perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks. Experience in FMCG and bottling equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential).
• Up to 1 year experience in operational execution within FMCG; bottling equipment.
• 6 months syrup manufacturing experience and fault finding skills (low level).

Responsibilities

• Operate processes and mix syrups to production plan.
• Perform quality checks on syrups (odour and appearance).
• Complete paperwork (traceability, MRP, CIP).
• Perform CIP for tanks and equipment and basic maintenance (cleaning, lubrication).
• Maintain 5S and GMP housekeeping; daily stock counts.
