Job description

Pool Academy Aquatics is an International Aquatics Club based in South Africa, United Arab Emirates, India and the United Kingdom. We have over 10 000+ swimmers passing through our doors each year in all countries.

We are offering successful candidates a chance to teach/ coach Learn To Swim at Pool Academy Aquatics branches in Durban.

This can be a full time and/ or part time position starting immediately, at a branch closest to you.

The successful candidate will also be put through their Swimming Teaching Qualification (if they do not possess one), which will be fully paid for by the company.

The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (+- 60 hours per month). At a later stage, the successful candidate will be required to work 45 hours per week (+-180 hours per month) - which is the maximum.

Requirements:

- We are looking for male and female candidates

- MUST be from Durban

- Must be able to swim all strokes proficiently

- Must have excellent communication skills and teaching ability

- Must have excellent customer service skills

- Must have organisational and management skills

- Must be able to work on Monday to Friday (Between 3pm to 8pm)

- Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sundays) between 8am to 6pm

- Must have own transport/ car

- Prior competitive swimming experience will be advantageous
