Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Sustainable Energy Policy Advisor for a remote role spanning Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape and beyond. You will develop and advocate for policies that promote renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency, analyze market and regulatory trends, and provide expert guidance to clients and government bodies.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree and at least five years in energy policy, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage projects

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy policy analysis, advocacy, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of South African energy sector policies and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
