Placements24 is seeking a Sustainable Design Architect for a fully remote team. You will embed sustainable principles, lead energy modeling, and guide projects toward high environmental performance and social responsibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in Sustainable Design.
• Accreditation as a LEED AP, Green Star SA Accredited Professional, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience focused on sustainable architecture and green building design.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sustainable design principles and strategies into architectural projects from inception.
• Conduct energy modeling and performance simulations to optimize building design.
• Research and specify environmentally friendly materials and technologies.
• Lead the process for achieving green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Star).
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to define sustainability goals and targets.
• Develop innovative design solutions that minimize environmental impact and enhance occupant well-being.
• Prepare sustainability reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Stay current with advancements in sustainable design, climate adaptation, and circular economy principles.
