About the Role

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, organic farming, or agroecology.
• Practical knowledge of soil science, crop rotation, water conservation, and integrated pest management.
• Experience in farmer training, extension services, or community-based project management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data collection and basic analysis for project monitoring.
• Understanding of the agricultural landscape and challenges in the Western Cape , particularly in the Stellenbosch area.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to farms and project sites.
• A strong commitment to environmental stewardship and food security.
