Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Support professional. The ideal candidate will preferably be located at the Port Elizabeth Head Office, but remote candidates will also be considered.

  • Building strong partnerships with new and existing collaborators through facilitating quick turnarounds on communications, project management, and technical information gathering.
  • Identify, access, screen, and evaluate new products from third-party suppliers to diversify or improve the company's product portfolio.
  • Track market trends and activities to support decision-making.
  • Assist the regulatory manager with registration projects and regulatory maintenance activities, and take the lead on specific regulatory projects.
  • Develop, coordinate, and support sustainability activities and reporting, balancing financial sustainability with corporate social responsibility.
  • Drive internal engagement and training on sustainability goals and practices.
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Postgraduate degree in biological sciences relevant to agriculture or crop protection
  • 2-4 years of commercial experience in food safety, crop protection, or sustainability
  • SACNASP registration will be required if not available at the time of appointment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel
