Our client in the Agricultural industry in Port Elizabeth has an exciting opportunity for a 'Business Development Support & Sustainability Lead' to join their dynamic team! You will be focusing in on supporting the business development function as well as the regulatory team.

Responsibilities:

  • Building strong partnerships by ensuring fast, effective communication, project coordination, and technical insights with collaborators
  • Sourcing and evaluating new products to enhance and diversify the company’s third-party portfolio
  • Monitoring market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities
  • Supporting regulatory processes and leading specific registration and compliance projects
  • Leading and supporting sustainability initiatives, balancing cost efficiency with social responsibility
  • Driving internal awareness and training around sustainability goals and best practices
  • Providing product registration

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Degree in biological science with relevance to agriculture or crop protection
  • 2-4 years of commercial experience in the fields of food safety, crop protection or sustainability
  • Knowledge on Environmental Agricultural laws governing sustainability
  • Prior exposure to the Crop Protection industry
  • SACNASP will be required if not already registered
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be willing to travel
