SUSTAINABILITY ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT (KZN)

We are seeking a qualified Sustainability (Environmental) Consultant with a strong background in environmental management and sustainability practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and expertise in various environmental processes, excellent scientific report writing skills, and the ability to manage projects independently and effectively.

POSITION INFO : Requirements :

1. Proven experience in the compilation of BA’s, EIA’s, WULA’s, Environmental Auditing, and Environmental Control Officer functions
2. Excellent scientific report writing skills
3. Ability to manage projects independently and effectively
4. BSc Honours Degree in an appropriate environmental field or equivalent (MSc preferable)
5. EAPASA registered
6. SACNASP Professional Registration
7. GIS expertise
8. Own vehicle
9. Experience in proposal / tender compilation and management
10. Familiarity with NEMA, the National Water Act, 1998 (Act 36 of 1998), related policies, strategies, guidelines, and other environmental legislation
11. Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours when required
12. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
