Survey Technician

Overview

As a Survey Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work alongside collaborative team members, dedicated mentors, and experienced managers committed to supporting your career growth and success.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform topographic and boundary surveys, as well as construction stakeouts.
2. Apply surveying principles and practices using modern survey equipment to perform land survey work.
3. Operate instrumentation, clear brush, drive stakes, hold chains or rods, record data, prepare sketches, and maintain equipment as needed.
4. Assist in utilizing surveying software to gather, retrieve, and interpret data, and perform basic survey computations.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of related survey experience
• Ability to operate motorized equipment and sufficient physical stamina to work outdoors under various conditions
• Valid Driver's License

CEC Bridgeport is part of our West Virginia operations, including offices in Martinsburg and Charleston.
