To integrate into an existing team servicing parts for Neuro / Spine customers, working closely with the Senior Salespeople in the area to develop and maintain customer relationships, offering technical / clinical training and solutions in the OR to meet customer and user needs, and providing excellent after-sales service and support.
NEURO DIVISION
- Work closely with the Senior Salesperson and Sales Manager to identify customer requirements, potential support, and develop a sales plan for the territory.
- Implement tactical plans with the team to increase the use of company and division products.
- Follow up on sales leads and address customer queries promptly.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to optimize growth by sharing opportunities and providing support.
- Ensure timely placement of received orders and proper invoicing and delivery as per procedures.
- Build positive relationships with end users and customers to establish a strong foundation for ongoing business.
- Provide professional technical advice and solutions to meet customer needs, promoting the company's brand.
- Offer in-service training to ensure correct usage of medical devices and obtain necessary hospital or clinical access approvals.
- Maintain an understanding of current business sources and support forecasts for the next 12 months, supported by market intelligence.
- Report on competitor activities within the territory.
- Gain knowledge of relevant clinical studies and utilize appropriate sales materials effectively.
- Participate actively in company meetings and support equipment and instrumentation needs, exceeding customer expectations during specialized theatre cases.
Requirements
Note: Extensive driving and long working hours required.
- Ability to scrub in theatre and be part of the surgical team, focusing on Neuro / Spine cases.
- Provide technical instruction and support on supplied products (training provided).
- Manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Handle basic administration, including weekly activity reports.
- Well presented and able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Manage consignment stock and account for variances.
- Provide feedback to management as requested.
- Comply with Quality Management Systems.
- Own reliable vehicle, mobile phone, and computer; manage data and fuel efficiently to ensure job performance.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Health or Life Sciences preferred.
- Motivated, target-driven, and passionate about sales and the medical industry.
- Ability to scrub for theatre cases.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Own transportation and valid driver's license (non-negotiable).
- Own mobile device and computer (non-negotiable).
- Willing to work early and late hours as needed.
