Well known medical supplier requires a Surgical Sales Representative for the KZN Branch.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Degree in Human Movement / Health Sciences
- More than 1 year of experience as a medical device sales representative – preference will be given to Hands trauma experience (Upper limb distal extremities).
- Proven track record of achieving sales budgets in previous roles.
- Fluency in English and understanding of Afrikaans.
- Strong communication, planning, and time management skills.
- Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating, and feedback skills.
- Valid code 08 driver’s license & own transport.
- Ability to work after hours.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook.
Duties
- Develop and maintain current business, and seek new business opportunities.
- Sales and marketing of all products in the designated range.
- Attend theatre cases to learn, develop, and provide technical support in the operating theatre when required.
- Ensure full compliance with hospital procedures, the SAMED code of conduct, and CRICE.
- Prepare, review, and update surgeon preference lists, including quotes.
- Conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
- Lead the development of existing and new accounts.
- Plan and coordinate sales calls and strategies.
- Provide ongoing training to surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
- Meet quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in the annual sales plan for the territory.
