Support Engineer

Empowering users through expert technical support and seamless issue resolution.

We are looking to hire a dynamic Support Engineer who will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of products and systems, providing timely and effective technical support to address customer needs and maintain customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

1. Call management and resolution (incidents / requests)
2. Assist with AV / Patch Management / Backup
3. Managed security via Microsoft AD which we support for the client.
4. Onsite support and advise on virtualization and infrastructure technologies.
5. Facilitate change management and assist with implementation.
6. Onsite event management and investigations.

Your expertise:

Experience in IT: 4+ years
Experience in Industrial IT (Preferred): 2+ Years

Capabilities required:

1. Demonstrate and apply problem solving and troubleshooting skills
2. Research and apply new / enhanced technologies
3. Communicate effectively
4. Conform to all SLAs
5. Facilitate cross training and knowledge transfer among team members
6. Drive and facilitate continuous service improvement
7. Take responsibility for the environment DI supports

Qualifications:

1. GRADE 12
2. A+ / N+ / MCSE
3. Relevant degree or diploma in information technology
4. ITIL Certification
5. Driver’s License
