Support Coordination Assistant / Office Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced, pro-active Support Coordination Assistant / Administration Officer to join our team in Alice Springs.

About the position:

The role of a Support Coordination Assistant is to provide a high level of administrative assistance to our Support Coordination Team. As part of the role, you will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the day-to-day activities of our office, including administration support. The position requires a highly organised person with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Required to work well both independently and cooperatively as a member of a team, the position requires a person who displays self-discipline with the ability to avoid distractions and diversions in order to manage their own time effectively. The successful candidate will have an ability to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines, demonstrate attention to detail, show initiative and take ownership of the tasks before them whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude. The candidate chosen to join Eunoia Lane as a Support Coordination Assistant will have positive and contemporary values towards people with disabilities and must have the ability to interact, communicate, and engage effectively with diverse cultures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team of Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordinators, and Therapists.
  2. Manage administrative requests and queries from the Support Coordination Team.
  3. Organise and book remote travel and interstate travel.
  4. Undertake research projects in a timely manner as directed.
  5. Perform data entry, documentation, printing, and filing duties.
  6. Contribute to team meetings, discussions and planning with a willingness to share thoughts and ideas whilst maintaining flexibility and receptiveness to change and alternatives.
  7. Prepare and maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation including meeting minutes.
  8. Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, community services, government agencies, customers, and service providers.
  9. Undertake further training and education.

Minimum Requirements:

To apply for this position, you must have the following (or ability to obtain):

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
  2. A current driver's licence, with own vehicle.
  3. A current Working with Children Card.
  4. A current National Police Clearance.
  5. A NDIS Worker Screening.
