Supply Planner Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED (NBL) for a Supply Planner.

The successful candidate will report to the Planning Manager and will be based in Bryanston.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage service levels - Targets set by the business.
  2. Provide a production plan each week.
  3. Manage finished good stock levels within predetermined target days cover, including stock builds for promotions, line shutdowns, and peak seasonality builds.
  4. Collaborate closely with Factories, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure stock availability.
  5. Coordinate with distribution and deployment teams to meet regional demand.
  6. Manage forecast accuracy, including running monthly forecasting meetings.
  7. Maintain planning parameters within SAP and Barnton Planning tools.
  8. Oversee new product launches to ensure adequate stock coverage before launch dates.
  9. Conduct weekly feedback sessions on service levels, production, stock, and sales issues with key stakeholders.
  10. Participate in monthly New Product Development meetings to discuss capacity and new products.
  11. Prepare weekly/monthly reports as required.
  12. Perform scenario planning and advise on capacity constraints and future outlook.
  13. Collaborate with Customer DC Planners and Deployment Planners.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • At least 8 years' experience in an FMCG environment, with a minimum of 5 years as a Planner.
  • A degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields.
  • CPIM certification is advantageous.
Additional Requirements
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Experience with Barnton or similar supply chain planning software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience in FMCG sector.
  • Skills in data analysis, decision-making, networking, planning, organizing, and results delivery.
