Job description

THE JOB AT A GLANCE

You are responsible for the production and material planning process within your respective category. You support the analysis of critical demand-supply imbalances as input to the S&OP process. Additionally, you drive continuous improvement of the production, capacity, and material planning processes, while conducting regular supply analytics and validating planning policies and parameters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Generate supply plans (MPS and MRP) for your category and ensure continuous process improvement
• Ensure efficient production planning to meet the demand plan for finished goods
• Plan raw materials and packaging materials to maintain high plan adherence
• Analyze sales forecasts and inventory data to create weekly master production schedules aligned with customer service, logistics, and manufacturing cost goals
• Manage schedulers to develop capacity plans that optimize service and productivity
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement to optimize supply plans and delivery
• Prepare and facilitate supply review forums, including supply plans, capacity utilization, gaps, and action plans
• Analyze demand-supply imbalances and develop supply scenarios for the S&OP process, including regular supply analytics and validation of planning policies
• Utilize and develop supply planning tools such as SAP IBP
• Review target stock levels quarterly and project monthly stock requirements
• Manage inventory levels to balance capital investment and on-time service
• Partner with procurement for supplier development with strategic vendors
• Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., NPD) for new product launches
