A leading company in the supply chain industry is seeking a strong administrative professional based in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This role focuses on overseeing key administrative tasks for operations in Angola, aiming to optimize the import and logistics processes. Candidates should be fluent in Portuguese and English, with a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics and proven experience in control roles.
This role oversees key administrative tasks across the supply chain, from imports to store delivery, while supporting operations and store controls. Although based at our Head Office in Stellenbosch, the focus will be on Angola, assisting the CEO Angola and Operations Manager Angola with various tasks to enable growth initiatives. The role aims to streamline the import process for faster, smaller shipments, reduce costs such as duties and port fees, and include Vide e Caffè products in consolidated shipments. It also involves enhancing stock control by minimizing waste, enforcing FIFO practices, and preventing short-dated stock deliveries.
