Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring efficient sourcing of raw materials, manufacturing, inventory storage, and transportation.
• Tracking logistics and updating inventory.
• Overseeing end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Managing supplier relationships and solving supply chain challenges.
• Integrating new information, reducing costs, and maximizing revenue.
• Centralized management of the flow of goods and services to and from a company.
• Coordination of all business activities necessary to produce and deliver goods and services to customers.
• Overseeing and optimizing the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to end customers.
• Selecting and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
• Ensuring manufacturing best practices and standards in the plant

Qualification / Experience:

• NQL 6 Logistics or supply chain qualification or equivalent
• 2-4 years minimum experience as a supply chain management engineer in automotive manufacturing environment
• OEM or Tier One automotive seating or interior trim work experience
• High volume automotive manufacturing engineering work experience

• Strong computer and manufacturing simulation skills
• Lean manufacturing exposure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Customer orientated.
