Supply Chain Coordinator Specialist Edenvale Johannesburg

Our well-established client seeks an experienced Supply Chain Specialist / Supply Chain Coordinator / Supply Chain Manager with solid import and export and purchasing experience.

Salary: Market related

Minimum Requirements:

1. Matric with Supply Chain / International Trade or equivalent qualification
2. 5+ years as Supply Chain Coordinator / Supply Chain Specialist / Supply Chain Manager
3. 10 years Supply Chain / Procurement / Manufacturing / Distribution / Engineering / Technical experience
4. Must have Import & Export experience
5. Must have purchasing experience

Key Duties:

1. Invoicing – daily invoicing of customer dispatch and job cards
2. Purchasing – Purchasing of inventory from local & international suppliers
3. Production – creation of production shop orders in ERP system; receiving of shop orders; maintaining the shop order system to ensure correct goods are included in the shop order
4. Inventory Management & Control:
5. Freight forwarders: liaise with freight forwarders and maintain good relationships; review and negotiate shipping rates and schedules; managing full import process from intercompany suppliers
6. Arrange local delivery to customers' premises if required
7. Forecasting: Forecasting of inventory demand in conjunction with sales
