Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead supply chain optimization initiatives in Polokwane, Limpopo. This role drives efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of the supply chain, overseeing process improvements, technology deployments, and strategic sourcing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management in supply chain, strong analytical skills, and proven delivery on time and budget. Agile or Waterfall experience is valued; APICS/PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in project management, focused on supply chain or logistics.
• Strong understanding of inventory, logistics, and procurement.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans for optimization initiatives.
• Manage all project lifecycle phases from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and sales.
• Oversee implementation of new supply chain technologies.
• Monitor KPIs and report to senior management.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines.
• Identify risks and mitigate issues.
• Ensure compliance with policies.
