Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Supply Chain Optimization Engineer for its client in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will analyze and improve end-to-end supply chain performance, designing strategies to cut costs, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory and logistics across the network.

You will leverage advanced modeling and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle) to drive tangible improvements, collaborate across procurement, manufacturing and sales, and implement robust metrics and reporting to monitor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis and optimization.
• Proven experience with supply chain modeling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis and forecasting.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Excellent understanding of global logistics, warehousing, and inventory control principles.
