Supply Chain & Operations Senior Manager (50% potential role) (Contract) Johannesburg / Hybrid

Our client requires an experienced Supply Chain & Operations professional with integrated business planning, supply chain strategy, advanced analytics, and digital transformation expertise.

POSITION : Contract role for 12 months (this role has a 50% potential).

REQUIREMENTS :

• 10-15 years of consulting/project delivery experience in top-tier consulting firms or blue-chip organizations.
• Expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and transport sourcing.
• Proven ability to drive business value through digital planning and analytics.
• Strong leadership skills to build and manage teams, influence senior stakeholders, and lead large-scale transformation projects.
• Experience in supply chain technologies such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, BlueYonder, or o9 Solutions.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
• Industry experience in Consumer Goods & Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, High-Tech, Logistics, or Natural Resources is preferred.

THE ROLE :

As a key member of our Supply Chain Planning team you will :

• Work with leading global companies to drive planning transformation programs aligned with strategic business goals.
• Design and implement advanced Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions to improve collaboration, forecasting accuracy, and agility.
• Optimize inventory management, enhance production scheduling, and enable real-time decision-making through digital control towers.
• Lead the selection and implementation of cutting-edge supply chain technologies (SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, etc.).
• Drive cost reduction, sustainability, and resilience strategies in supply chain planning.
• Use AI-driven forecasting and analytics to improve demand planning and scenario analysis.
• Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders (CSCO, COO, CFO) and drive business development opportunities.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams to deliver impactful transformation solutions.
