The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring seamless operations across the supply chain, from procurement to final customer delivery. This role focuses on optimizing inventory, transportation, and distribution planning to maintain product availability while managing costs and efficiency. The coordinator will work cross-functionally to ensure on-time, in-full, and in-quality deliveries at the right price while upholding best practices in supply chain management. This role will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Purchasing: Plan optimal supplier ordering based on lead times, stock availability, and demand to minimize inventory while ensuring maximum availability.
Monitor product shelf life and expiry dates to minimize product expiry.
Inventory Deployment: Plan optimal deployment of inventory across regions while considering lead-times, stock availability, and demand offtake to minimize inventory levels while maximizing product availability.
Act as a Super-User for Inventory Ordering tools and systems.
Oversee shelf life management and minimize product expiry.
Transport and Distribution Planning: Liaise with transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Provide additional support for distribution planning as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate stock takes to ensure that the system numbers reflect reality.
Co-ordinate activities and liaise relationships across product suppliers, warehouse service providers, transporters, bespoke supply chain tools, and system integration.
Co-ordinate and liaise activities across the regions' execution departments of warehousing and distribution.
Maintain a centre of excellence of supply chain best practices that can be rolled out to the regions.
Administration of data capture on Cin Core 7 and Xero to reflect inventory ordering and deployment, and transport and distribution planning.
Manage returns and credits.
Any other ad hoc duties.
Skills and Competencies:
Competent in inventory and transport planning systems, with strong computer literacy.
A solid working knowledge of Excel is required. Familiarity with G-Suite, Cin Core 7, Netstock, CQuential Warehouse Management System, PTV Route Optimiser, or any of the brands under our umbrella is a plus.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
