Introduction
To provide operational support to the Distribution Centres and Supply chain teams with focus on Distribution Centre throughput capacity and supporting Supply Chain key performance indicators.
Job Description
- To assist the Supply Chain Analyst in supporting Distribution Centres by managing the outbound flow of daily distributions adhering to business requirements regarding promotional objectives and supply chain KPI’s
- To support the Supply Chain Analyst with generating and collating information, reporting and scorecarding and then apply sound business thinking to provide with insights to the Supply Chain team.
- To Provide Supply Chain and Distribution Centres with support by management of Inter DC stock movement ,sourcing rules and other stock related issues.
- To Support Logistics Planner with Managing Expired stock / Returns / Donations processes etc
- To analyse and resolve user queries to support Distribution Centres and Supply Chain Operations in their daily business processes.
- To assist the Supply Chain Analyst supporting Distribution Centres, Supply Chain and Category Teams by acting as central point of contact.
Minimum Requirements
Job Related Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of planning & buying process including stock flow and stock availability
- Knowledge of planning systems and variables
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Knowledge of distribution centre processes
Job Related Skills
- Analytical and numerate
- Well-structured and organised
- Good communication skills
Job Experience
- 1-3 years Replenishment planning experience in retail or other related working environments (Essential)
- FMCG experience (Desirable)
Education
- Diploma in Purchasing/Business Management (Essential)
- B.Com degree - Financial/Retail Management (Desired)
