To provide operational support to the Distribution Centres and Supply chain teams with focus on Distribution Centre throughput capacity and supporting Supply Chain key performance indicators.

Job Description

  • To assist the Supply Chain Analyst in supporting Distribution Centres by managing the outbound flow of daily distributions adhering to business requirements regarding promotional objectives and supply chain KPI’s
  • To support the Supply Chain Analyst with generating and collating information, reporting and scorecarding and then apply sound business thinking to provide with insights to the Supply Chain team.
  • To Provide Supply Chain and Distribution Centres with support by management of Inter DC stock movement ,sourcing rules and other stock related issues.
  • To Support Logistics Planner with Managing Expired stock / Returns / Donations processes etc
  • To analyse and resolve user queries to support Distribution Centres and Supply Chain Operations in their daily business processes.
  • To assist the Supply Chain Analyst supporting Distribution Centres, Supply Chain and Category Teams by acting as central point of contact.

Minimum Requirements

Job Related Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and understanding of planning & buying process including stock flow and stock availability
  • Knowledge of planning systems and variables
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of distribution centre processes

Job Related Skills

  • Analytical and numerate
  • Well-structured and organised
  • Good communication skills

Job Experience

  • 1-3 years Replenishment planning experience in retail or other related working environments (Essential)
  • FMCG experience (Desirable)

Education

  • Diploma in Purchasing/Business Management (Essential)
