Job description

Job Description: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Bryanston (Hybrid)

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Bryanston. This role involves analyzing data to improve service, costs, and decision-making within our supply chain operations, supporting Warehouse, Distribution, Import/Export, and Customer Services for South and Southern Africa.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Interpreting weekly and monthly fill-rate reports, conducting root-cause analysis, and embedding OTIF KPIs across the supply chain.
  2. Using data trends to identify efficiency opportunities and recommend customer-behavior changes to optimize costs and service.
  3. Analyzing supply chain costs and volume data from SAP, TMS, and vendor systems, and providing insights for cost improvement and supplier evaluation.
  4. Driving problem-solving sessions and coordinating team efforts using KPIs and scorecards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, MS Excel; understanding of supply chain cost drivers.
  • Certifications like APICS CPIM or CSCP are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and control towers is a plus.
