Our client in the FMCG Foods industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Technologist to join them in Cullinan, Gauteng.

The Supplier Quality Assurance Technologist is responsible for onboarding, maintaining, and monitoring raw material producers and suppliers for the company. This role ensures the integrity and quality of the supply base through comprehensive Supplier Quality Assurance activities, including the collection and maintenance of documentation, risk assessments, supplier visits, audits, and ongoing monitoring and reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supplier and Raw Material Approval
• Coordinate the supplier performance score system across company sites, incorporating raw material compliance
• Compilation, maintenance, and distribution of technical documentation
• Internal auditing on animal welfare
• R&D Projects

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• BSc or BConSci in Food Sciences, Hospitality/Retail, or agricultural supply chain
• At least 1 year of working experience
• FMCG experience is advantageous
• Own transport
