Job summary

A leading technology company seeks a Supplier Growth Manager in Mpumalanga to onboard new suppliers and strengthen existing relationships. Ideal candidates will have experience in Sales or Account Management within FMCG or Payments and possess strong negotiation and networking skills. The role involves managing a team and contributing to the Kazang cashless payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • 5 years' experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in FMCG or Payments company.
  • Experience in the per-urban / rural 'Informal' economy is advantageous.
  • Skilled in sales and negotiation at informal and semi-corporate levels.
  • Well networked within 'informal' Business value chains, especially with large wholesalers.

A vacancy exists for a Supplier Growth Manager within the Kazang - Merchant Division, in Mpumalanga.

To onboard new suppliers and grow current suppliers.

Maintain key relationships with suppliers.

Managing a team of Vault Reps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding of new Suppliers onto Kazang platform
  • Vault Deployments
  • Managing existing supplier relationships
  • Co-operating with Kazang sales structures to maximize volumes to suppliers
  • Building Kazang cashless payments ecosystem
  • Managing a team of Supplier and Vault Reps
Requirements
  • Matric 5 years' experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development in FMCG or Payments company
  • Experience in the per-urban / rural 'Informal' economy would be advantageous
  • Skilled in sales and negotiation at an informal level as well as semi-corporate partners
  • Well, networked within 'informal' Business value chains particularly large wholesalers and FMCG suppliers (or the ability to rapidly grow network)
