We are on the lookout for a Regional Hub Manager in Western Cape to deliver the client KPIs, including driving sell-out, maintaining, and growing retail assets, and retail mapping through effective in-store execution and building strong business relationships with store owners and their managers.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Drive sell out
- Understand targets per store, brand, and LSM, and break these down into measurable increments.
- Increase store volumes by identifying fast vs. slow movers and adjusting forward share accordingly.
- Drive ad hoc promotions/deals to boost sales.
- Negotiate space based on sales rates.
- Identify in-store cross-merchandising opportunities.
- Ensure stock pressure is applied.
- Monitor in-store pricing and communicate anomalies.
- Control and report out-of-stocks.
- Ensure sufficient stock ordering.
- Manage returned goods system and follow up on damaged goods.
- Develop strategies to increase sales.
- Implement promotional activities timely and report non-compliance.
- Train store sales consultants and ensure their registration on MCS.
Effective management of promotional activities
- Implement promotional grids as per timelines and objectives.
- Communicate promotional activities to relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate POS material with store owners/managers.
- Ensure promotions are executed, maintained, and reported.
- Monitor competitors’ innovations.
- Ensure staff understand promotion mechanics and provide feedback.
- Create and execute innovative promotional campaigns.
- Carry out blitz activities as required.
Achievement of POP objectives
- Implement and maintain store-specific planograms and category flows.
- Provide feedback on forward share changes.
- Maximize forward share and identify cross-merchandising opportunities.
- Execute client briefs regarding POS material.
- Ensure market share is reflected in categories and shelf health is maintained.
Operational Management
- Resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
- Compile reports on initiatives and performance.
- Manage data capturing compliance.
- Use data to create retail mapping reports and initiatives.
- Conduct weekly store audits and implement improvement actions.
- Maintain and increase retail assets.
Distribution of new lines
- Inform customers and Product Consultants of innovations.
- Drive speed to market and negotiate new store listings.
- Distribute trade materials and train staff on new lines.
- Monitor sales and competitors’ innovations.
Stakeholder relationship management
- Build relationships based on trust and provide continuous feedback.
