Superintendent Business Development- (Gauteng / Hybrid)
New opportunity for someone with a legal background to assist with research, analysis, management and presentation of Business Development opportunities and creating long-term value for the organization and relevant stakeholders.

Our client is a multinational mining and metal Processing Group with a diverse portfolio of projects and investments across five continents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the formulation and development of the Business Development strategy by assisting the Business Development team by researching, analysing, developing, reviewing and presenting qualitative and quantitative data required to inform a strategic Business Development plan.
Research, Corporate Governance & Organisational Ethics
- Keeping abreast of the business, economic, political, and regulatory climate in the regions in which the organisation operates on a global level.
- Conducting industry, commodity, and regional research, as required.
- Presenting recommendations in a professional manner.
- Complying with professional codes of conduct, organisational codes of ethics, group policies, protocols and procedures.
Internal:
- Conceptual Phase: Assisting and participating in trade-off studies. Assisting with the evaluation of alternatives and conducting financial viability studies.
- Pre-Feasibility Phase: Assisting with the refinement of project assumptions and conducting further studies as required.
- Feasibility Phase: Assisting with the refinement of projects (due diligence, analysis, etc.) to required level of accuracy for implementation.
- For all Phases: Assist in the compilation of findings and recommendations to provide insight for executive decision making.
External:
- Assisting with the management, implementation and undertaking of the due diligence processes.
- Extracting critical information from external reports for use in target analysis.
- Assisting with managing the implementation of the transaction.
- Assisting in the identification and assessment of risks related to internal and external opportunities.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.
- Ensure open and professional communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
- Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment such as the BeQ.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- NQF 7 (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma) in any of the following fields:
- Economics
- BCom Accounting (CA Route)
- BCom Finance / Business Sciences
- Mining Engineering / Geology (Essential to have a finance / business background as well (i.e., MBA, CFA, or similar program)
Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a related role.
Legal:
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record.
