Qualifications

• 28+ years of relevant substation design experience.
• PE license or working toward one is a plus.

Job description

Develop and review detailed electrical designs for substations, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams Design and specify substation equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, and control panels Ensure compliance with national and international standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NESC, NEC) Coordinate with civil, structural, and protection engineers during multi-disciplinary design efforts Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and testing Prepare project documentation including design reports, bill of materials, and equipment specifications Engage with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Masters preferred for senior roles)28+ years of relevant substation design experience Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and engineering tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, or similar) Solid understanding of protection & control schemes, grounding, and high-voltage equipment Strong communication and project coordination skills PE license (or working toward one) is a plus Apply now!
