Generic Requirements :
  • Applicant must demonstrate competency in the specific functions of the role;

Additional Requirements :
  • Three-year Diploma/Degree (SAQA NQF level 6 or higher) in Policing, Law, Forensic Investigation, Accounting, Auditing, or related field, with three years of relevant experience, including two at supervisory level.
Core Functions :
  • Implementing policies and procedures related to asset forfeiture investigations;
  • Conducting asset forfeiture investigations, including tracing property, obtaining statements, compiling subpoenas, and gathering information;
  • Gathering information and evidence for suspect profiling;
  • Preparing detailed investigation reports for submission to legal authorities;
  • Liaising with stakeholders regarding investigations;
  • Documenting investigations into projects and operations;
  • Identifying trends and typologies in asset forfeiture;
  • Providing court testimony;
  • Ensuring compliance with information security standards and legislation;
  • Managing resources effectively within the post environment.
