About the Role

Our client, a reputable and growing U.S.-based company, is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, processes, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, general ledgers, and reconciliations.
2. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
4. Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
5. Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
6. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
7. Support internal and external audits by providing all necessary documentation.
8. Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax laws.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• CA(SA) or ACCA qualification.
• Experience in multi-state payroll and tax filing.
