Purpose of the Role: The Student & Campus Support Administrator will support the daily administrative needs of students, manage front desk operations, and promote a safe and healthy campus environment.
This dual role ensures seamless student administrative support and adherence to health, safety, and environmental (SHE) standards at Belgium Campus iTversity, Kempton Park.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Student Administration, Front Desk, and Student Support
- Front Desk Management: Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, handling inquiries, directing calls, and offering general assistance.
- Student Queries: Assist students with inquiries related to academics, campus facilities, class schedules, and administration.
- Walk-in Customer Service: Welcome visitors and address their needs professionally.
Uniform
- Uniform Fitting and Orders: Assist with fittings, process orders, and liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
Financial Transactions and Documentation
- Payments Processing: Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including EFTs and deposits.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Issue student cards, maintain records, and manage documents within the student portal.
Office & Campus Organization
- Document Preparation and Distribution: Support printing, binding, and distribution of academic materials.
- Courier and Mail Services: Manage courier services and mail distribution.
- Campus Environment Management: Ensure reception and common areas are organized and welcoming.
Support for the Executive Committee (EXCO)
- Guest Hospitality: Welcome guests, prepare refreshments, and handle requests from EXCO members.
- Administrative Support: Assist with documentation, messaging, and other tasks as needed.
Student and Faculty Support
- Academic Assistance: Help students with login details, schedules, qualification changes, and re-enrollment.
- Documentation Services: Facilitate requests for transcripts, registration proof, certificates, and exam queries.
- Faculty Support: Support faculty with student administration and forms.
Occupational Health & Safety & SHE Duties
Health and Safety Checks
- Monthly Inspections: Conduct safety inspections, document hazards, and address risks.
- First Aid and Supplies: Maintain first aid kits and provide minor injury assistance.
Incident Reporting and Response
- Accident Reporting: Document incidents and follow response protocols.
- Emergency Preparedness: Support drills and ensure familiarity with evacuation procedures.
- SHE Documentation: Keep accurate safety records and ensure compliance.
Campus SHE Advocacy
- Safety Promotion: Educate on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Committee Participation: Engage in SHE meetings, contribute safety insights.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and report non-compliance.
