Our client, a national institution, is seeking to appoint a dynamic Student Advisor (Postgraduate) to their Newlands, Cape Town based sales team.

Requirements
  • 3-Year Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales Consulting or Customer Relations Consulting.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and advanced oral/written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and planning abilities.
  • Customer service focused, target-driven and able to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic academic environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Database: Conduct presentations to final-year students, distribute marketing material, collect and capture leads accurately on SIMS.
  • Consultations: Respond to enquiries within 48 hours, send follow-up communication, conduct consultations and follow-up calls.
  • Applications: Secure and process applications, ensure payments and supporting documents are received, drive offers of admission to pre-registration fee payment.
  • Registrations: Achieve individual registration targets as set by Head: Student Recruitment (Postgraduate).
  • Stakeholder Management and Customer Service: Build strong relationships with prospective students, internal teams, campus staff, senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication in line with policies and brand standards.
