Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Eng Tech with ECSA.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in structural design and analysis of buildings.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, Prokon) and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of the National Building Regulations and relevant SANS standards.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for new building constructions and renovations using various materials (concrete, steel, timber).
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
