Job description

We're seeking a driven Structural Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.
2. Execute construction-related tasks such as shop drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and specialized structural inspections as needed.
3. Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and building contractors throughout project design and construction phases.

Qualifications

1. 5-10 years of relevant work experience and/or recent registration as a Pr.Eng engineer.
2. Proficiency (minimum 3 years) in software including Tekla Structural Designer, Prokon Frame Analysis, AutoCAD 2D, and Revit.
3. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Prokon, Tekla, Revit, and 2D CAD software, as well as Pro-Bar.
4. Structural steel and reinforced concrete design across large and small-scale projects.
5. Willingness and ability to undertake short-term travel as needed.
