WSP is in search of a Structural BIM Modeler to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will lead a modeling team and ensure high-quality delivery on major infrastructure projects. WSP operates in a discipline model where project teams are located in dispersed locations and collaborate virtually to deliver major project designs.
The Structural BIM Modeler performs a variety of design activities including BIM modelling, design, preparing drawings for projects, clash detection, establishing guidelines and procedures and managing workload distribution within the BIM team.
Must be familiar with the collaborative Autodesk Suite and Bentley Suite of design software tools. Proven competence in modelling Bridge and Civil Structures and be able to develop and interpret detail design work.
Will also be involved in automated design using Dynamo and the like, Navisworks Clash detection and coordination of major infrastructure projects.
