Job description

TSU is seeking to recruit freelance Riot and Crowd Control Officers. Officers will be deployed to various sites across the country as requested by clients and are expected to work away from home most of the time.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid driver's license (advantageous)
• Own transport (advantageous)
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level)
• Security training certification (Grades)
• Riot or Tactical training certificate
• Crowd control / crowd management / public order management experience
• Firearm handling skills, including handgun, shotgun, and carbine (advantageous)
• Firearm statement of results
• Valid Regulation 21 certificate (if available)
• Physically fit, with regular fitness testing
• Bank account confirmation
• ID document
• SARS Tax Number (if applicable)
• At least 2 years' relevant experience (advantageous)

• Excellent communication skills at all levels (face-to-face, telephonic, email)
• Fluent in English with excellent writing skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• Customer care, client liaison, and relationship-building skills
