About the Role
As a Real Estate Strategy Analyst, you will support the Strategy Manager in shaping and executing the site's property strategy across its branches, corporate offices portfolio. You will contribute to data-driven insights, scenario planning, financial modelling, and strategic reporting to help drive portfolio optimisation and capital efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Collect, analyse, and synthesise internal property data, lease information, utilisation metrics, and market intelligence.
- Support GIS mapping, customer demographic overlays, and spatial analysis to inform location strategy.
- Financial Modeling & Business Case Development
- Build and maintain financial models (NPV, IRR, cost-benefit, cost-to-serve) to evaluate consolidation, expansion, or disposal scenarios.
- Assist in drafting business cases for real estate initiatives and capital planning cycles.
- Portfolio Reporting & Dashboards
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and internal data platforms.
- Track strategic KPIS such as occupancy cost ratios, space utilisation, and lease expiry risk.
- Scenario Planning & Strategic Support
- Support long-range planning efforts by simulating different footprint scenarios in response to business model changes or customer trends.
- Assist in assessing portfolio alignment with hybrid work, ESG objectives, and digital transformation.
- Governance & Presentation Support
- Prepare executive briefings, board packs, and market reviews under the guidance of the Strategy Manager.
- Maintain risk registers and lease event trackers to support proactive decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Liaise with Facilities, Finance, IT, and HR teams to gather inputs for strategic planning and execution tracking.
- Participate in internal workshops, planning sessions, and transformation reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in real estate analysis, consulting, corporate property, or financial planning.
- Exposure to banking, retail networks, or large multi-site portfolios is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and GIS platforms.
- Experience working with SAP RE, MRI, or similar real estate tools preferred.
