As a Strategy Specialist with a focus on omni-channel strategies, you will utilize various digital tools like GMP (Google Marketing Platform) and social media to craft data-driven plans that reach customers across all touchpoints.

The Strategy Specialist within the Internet Capability team is responsible for planning and developing digital platform strategies, data, tech, AI, and campaign strategies within their portfolios. This includes constant cross-functional collaboration with several BUs and teams such as Channels, Sub Segments, Dynamic Decisioning, iDNA, BU Analytics, Retail and Commercial Sales, and Interactions Enablers for end-to-end data and campaign flows.

We seek someone with strong vision, energy, passion, and a desire to learn, capable of working effectively across diverse teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Digital Strategy Planning and Audience Analysis
  2. Developing, managing, and monitoring paid media strategies across all channels and KPIs
  3. Conducting market research to understand target demographics and online behavior
  4. Analyzing competitor strategies
  5. Developing overarching digital marketing goals aligned with business objectives
  6. Crafting an omni-channel strategy integrating GMP, Display & Video, Google Ads, and social media platforms
  7. Defining success metrics (KPIs) to track performance
  8. Regular monitoring of campaign performance using analytics tools
  9. Data and competitive analysis to identify areas for improvement
  10. Understanding A/B testing frameworks
  11. Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
  12. Maintaining clear communication and supporting knowledge sharing
  13. Staying updated on digital marketing trends and emerging opportunities

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A bachelor's degree equivalent to NQF Level 7 in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
  • Google industry certifications (Google Ads, GMP products, social media)
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing strategy
  • Experience with Google Ads and GMP products
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data from GMP, social media, and web analytics tools
