Manager for NSO Business Strategies
Overview
The Manager for NSO Business Strategies is responsible for implementing NSO strategies across Sub Sahara and North African regions, managing overarching projects and business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of projects and strategies supporting all NSO business requirements in line with group strategies, across all brands, dealer organizations, and within SSA/Africa and North Africa.
- Collaborate with HQ of BGC (Brand Group Core in Europe), group strategy departments in Wolfsburg, board members, and division heads to set activities and KPIs.
- Coordinate, track, report, and follow up on all NSO projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Support SSA market heads in developing strategies related to corporate growth, business development, brand expansion, and communication.
- Develop implementation plans and strategies to expand the geographical footprint of group brands in Africa, including presenting to the board.
- Assess and validate the business viability of new opportunities, including revenue streams and brand introductions, with support for government relations and lobbying.
- Monitor market environment and develop research and intelligence reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Track and monitor strategic initiatives as per Board directives.
- Prepare comprehensive business cases, including market and financial assessments.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or National Diploma in Business Management, Process or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience in a consulting firm is essential.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, or Business Process Reengineering; MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years of management experience.
- Proven track record in strategy development and project implementation.
- Experience in business case development, stakeholder management, and board-level communication.
