Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Transport Planner to join the Upington-based logistics team. You will design daily routes, schedule fleets, and allocate resources to meet demand while driving cost efficiency and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using transport planning software and GPS tracking systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with the geography of the Upington and Northern Cape region is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily delivery routes and schedules for the transport fleet.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries of goods.
