Job summary

Together Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Tender Specialist for an onsite role in the mining sector. You will manage the tender process from scope through to award, ensuring commercial rigour and contract alignment.

You will prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate contractor submissions, compare rates and BOQs, and develop structured evaluation reports. The role requires 3–6 years' tender experience and strong Excel skills, with the ability to work independently on site.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of practical experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience handling tenders and commercial evaluations.
• Solid understanding of contracts and contract administration.
• Advanced or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to mining, construction, engineering or a comparable technical environment is advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently in a site-based mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tender activities from scope and documentation through to evaluation and award.
• Prepare and distribute RFQs, RFPs and tender packs.
• Analyse contractor and supplier submissions from a commercial perspective.
• Compare rates, BOQs, pricing, exclusions and tender deviations.
• Prepare structured tender evaluation reports and recommendations.
• Apply sound QS methodology to tender assessments.
• Assist with the preparation, review and administration of contracts.
• Identify potential commercial, pricing and contractual risks.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the tender process.
• Keep tender registers and supporting documentation accurate, complete and audit-ready.
