Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, focused on technology sourcing.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex IT contracts (software, cloud, hardware).
• Strong knowledge of IT market trends, software lifecycle and cloud tech.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for technology hardware, software and IT services.
• Lead negotiations for IT contracts including software licenses, SaaS, hardware, and professional services.
• Manage key technology supplier relationships and contracts.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to define procurement strategies.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with governance, policy and legal requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value creation in technology spend.
• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for technology acquisitions.
• Prepare business cases and performance reports for senior management.
• Stay updated on technologies, market dynamics and best practices in IT procurement.
• Mitigate risks in technology sourcing including vendor viability, data security, IP.
• Support vendor selection through RFPs, RFIs and technical evaluations.
