Job description

As Strategic Support to the CEO, you have the incredibly important task of being a strategic partner, trusted confidant, and professional problem solver. Your days won’t always go according to plan, as our client is agile and definitely not predictable.

The successful individual is a brave achiever, who has a high sense of urgency, who is passionate and lively, but who can also be brief and articulate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Stakeholder Management

  • Build relationships with executives, Board members, and various other stakeholders across the Group.
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees.

Identification and Management of Strategic Initiatives

  • Develop and oversee strategic business initiatives.
  • Lead special CEO-initiated projects independently.
  • Recognize and initiate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed analyses of new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessments.
  • Organize workshops and strategy sessions to facilitate deep dives into critical issues.
  • Facilitate regular strategy review sessions to ensure strategic initiatives are on track.
  • Assist in strategic resource allocation to ensure key initiatives are adequately funded.

Research, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track progress toward strategic goals.
  • Conduct research and provide comprehensive reports on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor internal and external environments for potential risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize organizational impact.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • CA / CFA / Honours / Bachelor in Business Science / LLB degree.
