The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in logistics or supply chain, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Project, Asana and ERP systems. A relevant bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project management with logistics focus.
• Proven track record of cost savings or efficiency gains.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory, transportation and warehousing.
• Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site Vereeniging, Gauteng with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of projects aimed at optimizing supply chain operations.
• Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Conduct thorough analysis of current supply chain performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, manage changes, and resolve issues to ensure successful project completion.
• Work closely with IT, operations, and procurement teams to ensure seamless implementation of new systems and processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and provide recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout project lifecycles.
